Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) sektor ritel di Indonesia masih banyak yang mengandalkan pencatatan manual dalam mengelola transaksi penjualan dan inventori, sehingga rentan terhadap kesalahan pencatatan, kehilangan data, dan keterlambatan pelaporan yang menghambat pengambilan keputusan bisnis berbasis data. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan aplikasi Point of Sales (POS) berbasis web pada UMKM Ritelshoptbh sebagai solusi digitalisasi proses penjualan yang mudah digunakan dan terjangkau. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model Waterfall yang mencakup enam tahapan: requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, dan maintenance. Pemodelan sistem dilakukan menggunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML) untuk menghasilkan dokumentasi teknis yang terstruktur. Hasil pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi POS berhasil dibangun dengan modul penjualan dan pembayaran yang terintegrasi, mencakup fitur pencarian produk, manajemen keranjang transaksi, perhitungan otomatis total pembayaran dan kembalian, serta dukungan multi-platform (desktop dan mobile). Pengujian black box membuktikan bahwa seluruh fungsi sistem berjalan sesuai spesifikasi kebutuhan. Implementasi sistem disertai dengan pelatihan langsung kepada pemilik UMKM untuk memastikan transfer pengetahuan dan keberlanjutan penggunaan aplikasi. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi operasional UMKM melalui otomatisasi proses pencatatan, pengurangan human error, dan penyediaan data transaksi yang akurat untuk mendukung manajemen bisnis yang lebih baik.

  • Uya Asy Syuura Anandri, Universitas Islam Indragiri

    Uya Asy Syuura Anandri is an undergraduate (S1) student in the Information Systems Program at Universitas Islam Indragiri (UNISI) and is registered with ORCID iD 0009-0000-2385-7400. He specializes in information systems and database engineering, with particular expertise in Entity–Relationship Diagram (ERD) design and descriptive statistical analysis of academic datasets. He also conducts applied research on business models for micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM), including community-engaged studies on innovative UMKM initiatives in the Tembilahan area. His contributions include several articles and conference papers on ERD development, information-systems auditing, applied data analysis, and UMKM empowerment projects within the local academic context.

    Prof. Dr. H. Abdullah, S.Si., M.Kom is a Professor in the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science at Universitas Islam Indragiri (UNISI). He has served in university leadership roles including Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science (FTIK) for the 2016–2019 period. His research focuses on information systems and the application of machine learning to practical problems, including work on convolutional neural network (CNN) and TensorFlow–based methods for food-safety detection. Prof. Abdullah is actively engaged in academic supervision, applied research projects, and knowledge dissemination through national conferences and institutional collaborations.

    Ilyas, S.Kom., M.Kom. is a lecturer in the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science at Universitas Islam Indragiri (UNISI). He has served in university leadership roles and has been involved as a member of editorial/management teams for the institutional journal Sistemasi. His research and teaching focus on information systems, decision support systems, and web-based applications; he has authored articles in the Sistemasi journal and contributed to academic books indexed in SINTA.
